In honor of it finally feeling like fall, here is the first installment of my “Pumpkin Skincare” series!! πŸ‚πŸπŸŒΌ Yes! Pumpkin is not only amazing in desserts, soups, and on your porch, but it’ll help your skincare glow this season! πŸ‘βοΈπŸŽƒ I call this my “Pumpkin & Spice” Mask! Please note: this is MY OWN RECIPE. Please give credit if you share it anywhere/with anyone. Thank you! 😘 So you’ll need: πŸŽƒ 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée, πŸ‚ 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 🌼 1 teaspoon jojoba oil
Mix the ingredients and apply to your face for 10-15min MAX. Wash off w warm water and moisturize.
CAUTION: If you’re not using organic/katsuri turmeric, you may be at risk of staining your skin(nonorganic has dyes in it that will stain; not the spice itself) I personally have never had this happen to me (I use organic), but generally those with darker complexions claim they have. If this happens to you, follow up with a sugar scrub and you should be fine! πŸ‘πŸ‘ Benefits of this mask: turmeric prevents acne, is anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti inflammatory, and brightens. Pumpkin is full of vitamins A and C, contains antioxidants, and softens. Jojoba oil moisturizes and balances the skin whatever the type. This mask will help ALL SKIN TYPES! :D
Enjoy-! I hope this helps you! Stay tuned for the next recipe—coming soon! πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

It’s been a while!! :< School and life have suppressed my social responsibility to you, my dear friends, but rest assure I will be getting my act together!! πŸ™ˆπŸ‘πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜ Q: Do you know about YouNique cosmetics? I see ads and posts about the brand on IG alllll the time, especially when I search beauty/vegan tags. I was skeptical because all the crazy advertising until my good friend @foxylashesbycharli sent my these two products to try! :) The brand’s sales relies on people to sell makeup online; anyone can do it! They’re natural and vegan/crueltyfree, so I was willing to give the products a shot:
1⃣ Younique’s Lucrative Lipgloss in “Ladylike”, $15. It’s a bright orange, highly pigmented!! I feel for this as soon as I tried it on. It’s smooth and isn’t sticky—I could feel the quality. A little goes a long way.
2⃣ The 3D Fiber Lashes, $30. This is an interesting product because it’s a mascara enhancer—the first step is to use one coat of your favorite mascara (I used Urban Decay’s Perversion), then apply your fibers, then the gel in order to seal the deal. Since I have long lashes already alhamdulilah, I only apply this to the outer corners of my lashes. The result is “natural” looking, not clumpy or overdone, which impressed me! They really do look like falsies. The first time I used this product though, I experienced a bit of dryness and irritation but have not had any reactions after that, Charli said it’s extremely rare to have a reaction, but of course I’d be that one person. Regardless I did use it again and have been perfectly fine! :) Overall, I would recommend these products to anyone! They’d make amazing gifts! I think I’ll be purchasing more from them—I want to try their foundation and concealer next! :D If you’re interested in trying the products yourself, you can contact @foxylashesbycharli!! ^^
